This is a Studio Floor piece — a creation that came to life in the shop not from a customer order, but from a builder's instinct and a pile of exceptional wood. It won't be made again. When it's gone, it's gone.

The tray is built from a stunning combination of figured walnut and curly maple — two of the most prized hardwoods in North American woodworking. The walnut center panel runs with dramatic, swirling grain that shifts from deep chocolate to warm amber depending on the light. The maple side rails and base show tight, quilted figure that catches the eye from across the room. The curved walnut handles are shaped by hand, smooth to the touch, and finished to a silky sheen.

It sits on four solid wood feet, keeping it elevated and stable on any surface. The interior is deep enough to hold a full charcuterie spread, a bottle of wine, glasses, and everything else that makes an evening feel intentional.
