Every block is built from solid end grain hardwood, finished with food-safe mineral oil and ready to use the day it arrives. The end grain surface is self-healing — wood fibers open to accept your blade and close behind it, the same way professional butcher blocks have been built for over a century. It gets better with use.
Knot holes, grain shifts, and natural character aren't flaws. They're what make yours different from every other one we've made. No two Kitchen Blocks will ever look exactly the same.

Care
Hand wash only. Re-oil occasionally with food-safe mineral oil and bees wax to maintain the finish and extend the life of the wood. Never submerge or put in the dishwasher.
