Built from salvaged hard maple and handcrafted one at a time in our Guelph, Ontario workshop, these shelves combine clean modern lines with the warmth and character only reclaimed wood can provide.

Each shelf is completely unique, shaped by decades of natural wear, grain movement, knots, mineral marks, and reclaimed character that cannot be replicated with new lumber.

Unlike typical floating shelf hardware that often turns installation into a frustrating project, the Pro HOVR Mini system is engineered for strength, simplicity, and long-term reliability.

Mount the wall plate to your studs, slide the shelf into place, tighten the set screws, and you're done.

Your shelf is hand-finished with General Finishes Arm-R-Seal — a professional-grade oil-based urethane trusted by furniture makers for durability and long-term protection.

Unlike penetrating oil finishes, Arm-R-Seal creates a protective moisture-resistant barrier on the wood surface, making it an ideal finish for kitchens, bathrooms, laundry rooms, entryways, and everyday use.

Applied in multiple hand-rubbed coats and lightly sanded between applications, the final finish enhances the warmth and depth of the reclaimed maple while maintaining a natural satin appearance.

Reclaimed Hard Maple with Real Character

This reclaimed hard maple was sourced from heavy industrial use where strength and durability mattered. Every board carries its own history — grain shifts, knots, mineral streaks, saw marks, and natural character developed over decades of use.

The staggered plank construction is both structural and visual:

• narrow boards are individually selected
• grain is oriented for consistency and stability
• the staggered layout adds strength and character

The result is a shelf that feels warm, substantial, and genuinely one of a kind.

Because these shelves are built from reclaimed industrial maple, available dimensions are intentionally limited to sizes that meet our structural and finish standards after milling and preparation. Every board must maintain the minimum material thickness required for the Pro HOVR Mini mounting system while still preserving the character of the reclaimed wood.

From reclaimed material selection and milling to sanding, finishing, and bracket installation, each piece is built specifically for your order — never mass produced.

Production time is typically 3–10 business days depending on current order volume.
