Your shelf is finished with Osmo Polyx Oil — a premium German-engineered hardwax oil trusted by professional woodworkers worldwide.

Rather than forming a thick plastic-like coating on top of the wood, Osmo penetrates into the fibres while preserving the natural texture and feel of real hardwood.

The finish:

• enhances the warmth and grain of the oak
• highlights the natural ray fleck and figure
• provides water and stain resistance
• is easy to maintain over time

Handpicked White Oak Slabs

White oak is prized for its natural texture, subtle grain movement, and distinctive medullary ray fleck that becomes more visible as light moves across the surface.

We carefully select slabs with the best grain character, strongest visual movement, and cleanest live edges to create shelves that feel substantial, warm, and architectural.

Every slab is different, which means no two shelves will ever be identical.

You may request:

• a straighter, cleaner edge profile
• or a more dramatic live edge with additional natural movement

Otherwise, we select the best available slab for your chosen dimensions.

Every shelf is made to order in our Canadian workshop.

From slab selection and milling to sanding, finishing, and bracket installation, each piece is built specifically for your order — never mass produced.

Production time is typically 3–10 business days depending on current order volume.
