The Legacy Care Kit contains everything you need to maintain your Studio 5 end grain cutting board — the same products we use in our own shop. No guesswork, no substitutions, no standing in a hardware store aisle wondering what to buy.

What's Included

• Food-Grade White Mineral Oil (250ml) — Studio 5 bottled — Penetrates deep into the end grain to prevent drying and cracking. The same oil we submerge every board in before it leaves our shop.
• Clapham's Beeswax Salad Bowl Finish (7oz) — A Canadian-made finishing wax from Salt Spring Island, BC. Seals the surface after oiling, adds water resistance, and gives the wood a clean, natural sheen. The final step in our finishing process.

How to Use

• Apply mineral oil liberally to all surfaces — top, bottom, and sides
• Let sit for 20 to 30 minutes until the wood stops absorbing
• Wipe off any excess with a clean cloth
• Apply a thin coat of Clapham's beeswax and buff to finish
• Repeat every 2 to 3 months, or whenever the wood looks dry

Care Reminders

• Hand wash only — never submerge or put in a dishwasher
• Store flat or upright, never on its side for extended periods
• Re-oil when the wood starts to look lighter or feel dry
